2,000 miles in a van full of cameras and canvases!

Ellie and l flew out to Las Vegas, rented a camper van, packed it full of cameras, oil paints, tripods, easels and took off for a southwest road trip. Arizona was cool, but New Mexico blew our minds! We ended up at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu. Waking up every morning to the outline of Perdernal Mesa, Georgia O’Keefe’s favorite vista, was beyond inspiring. We painted and photographed every morning, through the day, and sometimes past sunset.
